FUJIFILM Corporation Sells Its OLED Patent Portfolio to Universal Display Corporation

Patent portfolio sold for $105 Million US, and includes more than 1,200 OLED patents and patent applications

Fujifilm has conducted R&D in the OLED field for more than a decade.  In that time, the company developed promising new technologies in OLED materials and for devices using such materials.  This purchase will allow Universal Display to explore future areas of OLED materials and product development. And Fujifilm will expand its supply business of its functional materials, conductive films and flexible substrates to OLED manufacturers around the world, including the customer base of Universal Display.
