NSTI’s Nanotech 2007 Opens Call for Papers

World’s leading nanotechnology event to review papers on latest advances in nanotechnology’s use in medicine, energy, security, electronics and consumer items.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nanotech 2007, the Worlds Largest Nanotech Conference and Trade Show, has opened its Call for Papers. Nanotech 2007, to be held in May 2007 at the Santa Clara, Convention Center, Calif., seeks submissions from nanoscience and nanotechnology experts across all disciplines in Research, Commercial Use, and Policy.

Nanotech 2007 is produced by Nano Science and Technology Institute (NSTI), which has been holding Nanotech events for 10 years.

Last years Nanotech 2006 4-day event held in Boston, Mass., drew more than 3,000 attendees, a record number of nano-professionals attending an event.

Attendees represented leading F500 firms, commercial nano research firms, educational institutions and government agencies from the U.S. and overseas. In addition, Nanotech 2006 also hosted more than 200 exhibitors from all sectors of nanoscience and nanotechnology, including optics, test and measurement tools, design and modeling, electronics, thin film, composites, bionano reagents and devices, among others.

Now that we are coming back to the San Francisco Bay Area, a center of high-tech innovation, we expect Nanotech 2007 will attract up to 4,000 attendees, said Matthew Laudon PhD, NSTI Executive Director. Our goal for Nanotech 2007 is to expand our leadership among nanoscience events and the market in general. The best way to show leadership is to showcase an even larger array of top nanoscience and nanotechnology experts and research results, Laudon added.
