Spring National SBIR/STTR Conference Returns to Washington, D.C. June 16-18

Co-located with the National Innovation Summit and TechConnect World Conference, the Spring National Conference is the largest gathering of federal funding agencies, industry leaders, and veteran SBIR/STTR awardees.

WASHINGTON, April 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Spring National SBIR/STTR Conference will take place June 16-18, at the Gaylord Hotel & Convention Center at Washington DC-National Harbor. The conference provides entrepreneurs, universities, and businesses with important information about competing for SBIR/STTR grants and contracts, which amount to approximately $2.5 billion in available funding each year. Attendees can meet one-on-one with federal program managers; hear from industry-vetted SBIR funded innovators; and learn successful commercialization strategies through business and government experts.

Within the TechConnect-National Innovation Showcase Hall, an SBIR Pavilion will feature more than 20 federal agencies including: Department of Defense, Department of Energy, National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Standards and Technology, NASA, and many more. The TechConnect-National Innovation Showcase Hall also includes more than 150 exhibitors representing F500 companies, SBIR-funded companies, university tech transfer offices, and federal labs.

Now in its 16th year, the TechConnect World-National Innovation Summit is the largest annual innovation conference and showcase for innovators, technology business developers, and investors in North America. Co-located with the Spring National SBIR/STTR Conference, all conferences will take place June 15-18, 2014, just outside Washington, D.C. at the Gaylord National Convention Center, National Harbor, MD.
