MicroGREEN Polymers will be presenting its company and exhibiting at next month’s TechConnect World conference, Santa Clara, CA

The 24th DuPont Awards for Packaging Innovation is the industry’s longest-running, independently judged celebration of innovation and collaboration from around the world.  The release notes that an expert panel evaluated 200 entries from 21 countries and awarded one diamond winner, five gold winners and 10 silver winners based on “excellence” in one, two or all three categories: Innovation, Sustainability and Cost/Waste Reduction.

MicroGREEN’s first product line is called InCycle®, an expanded recycled PET material sold in sheet and roll form and also in the form of food packaging such as thermoformed cups, lids, trays and bowls.  The company’s Ad-air® process is a proprietary technology which expands plastic by creating billions of tiny bubbles in a closed cell microstructure at the core of the material.

MicroGREEN will be presenting on June 21, at the TechConnect Venture Forum, and also exhibiting their technology at the TechConnect Innovation Showcase Expo.  To learn more about TechConnect World, visit: http://www.techconnectworld.com/World2012/.
